It is a high medieval city, overlooks on the sea and it is surrounded by high walls. The coast, of about 15km long, offers indented cliffs and irresistible waters. The Old Town center gives to its visitors a fabulous atmosphere thanks to the old squares, to the palaces and to the white houses. A huge crowd of believers rushes every year to attend the Madonna celebration, during which, the sacred icon is accompanied on a raft landing at Cala Batteria.
